
Jukui Fortress
Located in Youxi County, Jukui Fortress was built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and renovated in 1832. It covers an area of 6,552 square meters, including 3,000 square meters of buildings.
The fort has over 200 rooms, five wells, two storage areas, 60 shooting holes, three watchtowers and 80 watch windows. It was constructed for both accommodation and defense.
