
Zhangping Tai’an Fortress
The Zhangping Tai’an Fortress is located in Yiping Village of Fujian province. The construction took 13 years to finish, and was started in 1768. With a side length of 37.3 meters, the square-shaped fort covers 2,000 square meters total, 1,700 of which are covered by buildings. There are three courtyards along the central axis, and 51 rooms are situated around those courtyards.
