
Fanglian Fortress
Located in Datian County, Fanglian Fortress was built in 1806. The 3,600-square-meter fort is 9 meters high and contains 160 rooms. The outer wall is 2.3 meters thick, and the hallway on the second story features more than 40 windows used for both defense and ventilation. It is one of the best-preserved fortresses in Datian County.
