Shaohui Fortress

Located in Datian County, Shaohui fortress is a mansion-style residence used for both accommodation and defense. Built in 1838, the building covers an area of 25,000 square meters. It is a typical earth and wood structure.

There are a total of 72 rooms in the fortress. The front, left and right wings are two stories high, while the back is just a single story. The rooms feature exceptional lighting and ventilation.
